Annabelle Hydrangea - how do you control it?

Annabelle Hydrangea - I knew it was going to flop over, but I didn't think it was going to be this bad.
It's like a blowsy flower cousin in the garden.
It's all over the place.
I placed a large tomato cage over it and it ducked the tomato cage and it's growing under the first metal ring.
Would pruning help? or that's the way it is with this hydrangea?
