Last year I think I woke-up my Dahlias a little too early - because they got too happy and leggy.

This year I know they are sprouting in the bucket, but I]m pretending I didn't see it.

When do you start your Dahlias in Zones 5-7?

I also left my dahlias in the ground all winter and they rotted in zones 5 and 6A.

I did a google search and it says:
6-8 weeks before last frost date.
For me it's about the end of May so I'll start mine around the end of March.

I am starting my dahlias at the end of March.
I'm so tempted to bring them out now, but
I'm going to be patient and see if March works better for me.
