My Mom loves gardening, but the lawn is making it hard for her to get to her flowerbeds. She has the gardener mow her lawn quite short, so her ground is firm, but using a rollator is still hard to push.
Any ideas?
What do you use?
Thank you!

This is something for me to think about.
I love gardening and dread the thought of not being able to inspect my garden.
Right now I have gravel paths - so maybe thinking about paving stones of some kind - would work.
gardening with limited mobility - how?

Here is a page I'm working on.
I want to be able to enjoy my garden as long as I can.

I still have found anything that can handle the lawn.

Here are the things I hadn't thought about. Let's think about them together.
My Mom still wants the garden that she had 30 years ago.
If you want to garden for as long as you can - maybe now it's time to get the garden accessible to various needs.
I started making a few changes already.
Very little lawn, low maintenance garden with raised beds - if bending gets too hard, I think I like vegepod of something that I can sit under it.
Sitting and turning sideways looks pretty uncomfortable.
What do you think?

Does the garden actually work for the gardener using it?
I have been thinking about this.
What are you needs?
If you gardening from a wheelchair - I don't think raised beds works - because if I'm sitting next to the raised bed - I would have to twist my torso to reach the plants. I wouldn't do it.
Vegepods:
Unless you are tall person - I would only be able to reach the first row of plants.
Don't know if I could reach the middle row of plants.
Table-top planter:
That would work - if I can work around the planter and if it comes with drip irrigation and crop covers.
