This Week in the Garden: Potatoes + Unexpected Visitors

Went out to check the potato bed today and found tunnels and exposed seed potatoes.

Something is actively digging and harvesting them, so I’m switching to a stronger protection setup:
- hilling potatoes up
- adding mulch
- fencing the bed more securely

Also seeing increased rabbit activity elsewhere in the garden, so most young crops are now under protection.

This year is turning into a “learn as you go” season with multiple garden visitors showing up at once.

What about you?
Are the neighbourhood critters moving in?
